Choosing an engagement ring is a personal decision that should come naturally. Each engagement ring is unique. You may decide to choose a round diamond, a pear cut, or possibly an emerald cut diamond as the center for your setting. Each ring will have a character and feel to it that should suit you, your fiance, and reflect your relationship.
Now that the New Year is here there are a lot of women who will be planning summer, fall, and even next winter weddings. If you’re one of them but you haven’t officially been given a ring yet, you might want to look at the latest trends.
One of the newest things in engagement rings is colored stones instead of diamonds, or colored diamonds instead of the more common ones. Sometimes there is a mixture of the two in order to create a beautiful look and something very unique.
Another popular trend is to have diamonds all the way around the ring instead of having just one diamond solitaire. The solitaire style was much more common in the past but everything changes.
Other current hot styles with engagement rings include twisted bands and raised, intricate settings.
Vintage glamour is becoming popular, too, as are eco-friendly rings. These are made from recycled gold and they have diamonds or other stones that are minded in earth-friendly ways so that their creation doesn’t harm the environment. Any and all of these trends look like good choices for the future.
